This week on The Free Cheese: we show some love to the Vita. Matt is counting down the seconds until Horizon: Zero Dawn while Marc and Joe hold fingers in their ears and look toward Friday's release of the Nintendo Switch. We hear how Marc attempts a loose speedrun of a neon murder nightmare and how the Final Fantasy 30th anniversary has its hooks in both Matt and Joe- six, seven, maybe ten different ways... We talk about our favorite games on the PlayStation Vita as it celebrates its fifth year in our lives. Finally, we know that the Switch is next for Nintendo, but what's NEXT for Nintendo? |

This week on The Free Cheese: Marc becomes February. After only a few short months, Matt has earned the platinum trophy in Bloodborne. Without the desire to play anything else, he struggles to find something to play, bouncing from Rocket League to his seventh attempt at Final Fantasy VII. Together, he and Joe wander the wasteland in Gunman Taco Truck and take control of PlayStation's finest in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, while Marc gets his head stuck in Gang Beasts. Marc plays Ultimate Chicken Horse with some friends and later brings the end to Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows. We discuss a recent interview with Miyamoto, the changes coming to PlayStation Now, and a recently published PlayStation patent that switches things up a bit... |

This week on The Free Cheese: We get a Reggie-back ride. Marc and Joe went to a Nintendo event and played the Nintendo Switch. Matt asks a series of lightning round questions regarding the Switch, the games, and the event. We tell you everything we experienced in full graphic detail. We also hear the stories of Final Fantasy XV glitches that leave us able to wander through a frozen moment in time, why Bloodborne is better the second time around, and how Resident Evil 7 can only be played in VR. |

This week on The Free Cheese: We meet our biggest, like, fan. Joe, Marc, and Dashe are here to share all of the details on how many orbs it takes to get your favorite hero in Fire Emblem Heroes. Make no butts about it, we love NieR: Automata. Joe finds Michelle Pfieffer's claws in Let It Die as he passes the twentieth floor. Dashe dresses his character up in new outfits as he murders demons in Tales of Berseria. Marc visits Y'ALL MART on his way north in Death Road to Canada. Finally, we talk about the absolutely abhorrent nonsense that plagues GameStop employees this week, curious to see what will come next. |
