For the first time in a long time, we open the show with a rundown of some news in the past week. We discuss our hopes and dreams for Pikmin 4, Kyle's disdain for Mario, and why Joe is excited for Sonic Spinball.

We talk more about the excitement we have for Super Mario Maker coming this Friday, including the level Joe designed earlier this week. 

Finally, we take a quiz on PlayStation and see how much we know about video games on the platform in the last twenty years.

Joe and Kyle discover the wereworm and accidentally create the cug. 

It's been a month since we've sat down, so we had a lot to catch up on. Kyle really wants to play Mad Max after watching 70 minutes of footage for the game. Joe needs to figure out how to get a Shovel Knight amiibo into his hands.

Both of us have been playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game Online and we're not sure if that's okay. We spend some time discussing other news, like the New 3DS finally coming to North America, in addition to Pokken Tournament.

Finally, Joe convinces Kyle to get excited about the release of Super Mario Maker and suggests some outlets for finding intriguing videos about the game.
